We’re currently hiring a full-time Insurance Specialist based in our Creve Coeur, MO clinic. In this essential role, you’ll work behind the scenes to ensure our patients can fully utilize their insurance benefits to receive the care they need.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Verify patient insurance coverage and mental health benefits
  2. Identify insurance requirements and authorization needs
  3. Communicate with insurance providers to confirm benefit details
  4. Research the most cost-effective options for patients’ treatment plans
  5. Keep patient insurance information up to date in our EHR system
  6. Document insurance details clearly for clinical and billing teams
  7. Monitor and report trends or delays in insurance reimbursements
  8. Partner with clinical and administrative teams to remove insurance-related barriers to care
What You Bring:
  1. 2+ years of experience in healthcare insurance (mental health experience a plus)
  2. Familiarity with medical billing and coding practices
  3. Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems
  5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  6. Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  7. A genuine interest in mental health advocacy and patient care
