One of our top clients is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Manage workers' compensation and insurance defense cases from start to finish, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Advise clients on legal strategy, rights, and settlement options.
- Draft motions, petitions, and other key legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings and trials.
- Collaborate with a supportive legal team to develop strategies and deliver top-notch client service.
- Stay current on evolving laws and regulations while maintaining organized case records.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey (PA license is a strong plus).
- 2-8 years of experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of insurance and workers' compensation law and procedures.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Experience with case management software is a plus.
