Responsibilities
  • Manage workers' compensation and insurance defense cases from start to finish, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Advise clients on legal strategy, rights, and settlement options.
  • Draft motions, petitions, and other key legal documents.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with a supportive legal team to develop strategies and deliver top-notch client service.
  • Stay current on evolving laws and regulations while maintaining organized case records.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey (PA license is a strong plus).
  • 2-8 years of experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance and workers' compensation law and procedures.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Experience with case management software is a plus.
