Job summary

South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission is seeking an entry-level Insurance Analyst to learn and assist in analyzing incoming claims, verifying coverage, and managing claim files. You will work with compliance officers on motions and orders, and respond to stakeholder inquiries in a detail-oriented environment.

This role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to handle high-volume workloads while maintaining compliance with state regulations and MSD bill review

Qualifications

• High school diploma with related experience in processing workers' compensation claims.
• Experience with medical billing and/or coding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify workers' compensation coverage for claims, including 'no report' files.
• Respond to inquiries from the public, staff, and claimants with accurate information.
