Job summary

Horace Mann invites independent insurance professionals to join our team in the Roanoke area. You will operate with a 1099 compensation model, incentives for early activity, and quarterly production rewards designed to boost earnings while you build a client base serving educators.

We provide a dedicated Premier Service Rep to assist with client work, access to a multiline product portfolio, and ongoing training plus technology to support your operations. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry preferred.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health; Property and Casualty.
• Gain FINRA Series 6 & 63 if applicable in certain regions.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand your agency through targeted outreach and relationship building.
• Focus on servicing educators and related organizations to grow market access.
• Confidently present product information to groups and individuals.
