Job summary

Horace Mann invites you to join as an Exclusive Insurance Agent, offering a performance-based 1099 compensation model and incentives designed for the first 48 months. You will operate in an exclusive territory with cutting-edge tech and support to build a robust client network among educators.

The role emphasizes licensing (Life, Health, Property & Casualty) and the potential to obtain FINRA licenses as applicable. No external office is required for 2 years, enabling field-based entrepreneurship.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in insurance/financial services (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License, Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).
• No external office required for 2 years.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
