Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking Exclusive Insurance Agents to unlock financial potential for educators. You will operate with a competitive 1099 compensation plan and an industry-leading 48‑month incentive package, supported by a dedicated service representative and cutting-edge technology.

You will cover an exclusive territory in a niche market, with no external office required for two years, and access to a multiline product portfolio and relationship-building programs to grow your network.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in the insurance/financial services industry preferred.
• Resident state general lines insurance licenses required.
• Life/Health and Property/Casualty licenses required or obtainable.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses optional depending on region.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
• Life and Health Insurance License
• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
