Job summary

Minnwest Bank seeks an Insurance Agent to join our New Prague or Waseca offices. This full‑time role focuses on selling insurance products, handling endorsements, and providing superb customer service to help clients protect their assets.

You will support the Market Manager with administrative tasks, identify prospects, and build lasting relationships. A high school diploma and 2+ years of customer service or sales experience are required; licenses are preferred and may be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 2+ years of customer service / sales experience.
• Property & Casualty license preferred prior to hire; Life & Health licenses may be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Represent the agency in the sale of all insurance products and services, process endorsements, maintain billing and deposits.
• Assist customers with paperwork and answer questions about insurance products and services.
• Identify prospects, market and sell multiple insurance products, write and secure new policies.
• Maintain and update insurance programs to provide favorable coverage and terms.
• Call clients to review, renew, or sell additional coverage and obtain referrals.
