Job summary

Minnwest Corporation in Minnesota seeks an Insurance Agent to join our full-time team in New Prague or Waseca offices. The role focuses on selling all insurance products, assisting clients with paperwork, and maintaining favorable coverage terms.

You will identify prospects, manage client relationships, and strive to grow agency profitability while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 2+ years of customer service / sales experience.
• Property & Casualty license prior to hire date; Life & Health licenses within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Represent the agency in the sale of all insurance products and services, process policy endorsements, maintain billing and deposits.
• Assist customers with paperwork and answer questions regarding insurance products and services.
• Identify prospects, market and sell multiple insurance products (crop, home, life, auto, mortgage).
• Maintain and update insurance programs to provide favorable coverage and cost terms.
• Call clients to review, renew, or sell additional coverage and obtain referrals.
