Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to own a niche agency with a defined territory and no overlap with other agents. You will benefit from a competitive, performance-based 1099 compensation plan and an industry-leading 48‑month incentive package.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage an agency.
• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health License; Property and Casualty License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

Responsibilities

• Identify and build your own agency within a defined territory.
• Present products to groups and individuals to grow clients and revenue.
