Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators secure affordable, comprehensive insurance solutions. You will operate in a niche market with exclusive territory rights and a focus on relationship-building and long-term growth.

The role emphasizes licensing in life, health, and property & casualty, plus FINRA registrations where needed. A dedicated service representative supports client service while you focus on business development in Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management capabilities.
• Experience within the insurance/financial services industry preferred (2–5 years).
• Licenses: Life & Health, Property & Casualty; FINRA Series 6 & 63 where applicable.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency


• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)


• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:

• Property and Casualty Insurance License


• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
