At Genstone Insurance, we provide innovative insurance solutions for clients who invest in single-family residential properties as a specialty insurance broker. We understand that every investor is unique, and their insurance should work specifically for them. We are seeking an Insurance Agent to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the EVP, Genstone Insurance, and achieve individual sales targets and agency production requirements through outbound calls and proactive sales activities.
  • Work with referral sources or self-generated opportunities to fill and maintain a sufficient sales pipeline to quote, sell, and process insurance applications that meet or exceed monthly goals.
  • Issue profitable new business to achieve growth, compliance, and profitability standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with a High School diploma/GED).
  • Active General Lines Property & Casualty Producer License to sell personal and commercial insurance in the home state, with willingness to acquire additional state licenses as needed.
  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Previous experience in mortgage, servicing, or financial services industry.
  • 2+ years of insurance sales experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of outbound call center experience in customer service.
  • Encompass experience or similar software preferred.
  • Active network of investor customers/brokers a plus.
  • Knowledge of business structures (e.g., LLC, LP, SP) and state-specific insurance requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; customer service-focused with interpersonal strengths.
  • Collaborative work style, agile with high learning agility; strong analytical skills and judgment; problem-solving abilities to analyze data and identify opportunities.
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, compliance orientation, and ability to prioritize with effective time management.
  • Self-directed, proactive in surfacing issues, professional maturity, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong business acumen and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation
  • The hiring range for this position is $48,000.00 annually.
  • This position is eligible for commission.
