Job summary

Mid-Missouri Insurance Agency is hiring a Personal Lines Insurance Agent in El Dorado Springs, MO to assist with customer needs and provide an extraordinary experience through a consultative sales approach.

Agents will represent MMIA, assist with policy submissions, rate risks, and train on carrier products while maintaining accurate files and delivering excellent customer service in a local, community-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete applications and rate risks for new and renewal business
• Provide complete and accurate submissions to carriers
• Solicit coverage for lines of business not carried by the agency
• Take claim reports and submit to carrier
• Prior to renewal, prepare key accounts for review: assemble, update entire file and account info. Prepare recommendations for upgrades in coverages
• Process endorsements and cancellations
• Referrals for loans, deposit, trust, and merchant services
• Ensuring Agency management system contains accurate and up to date policy and client information
• Accept customer payments according to agency procedure
• Assist Customers with transaction based requests, such as:
• Assist Customers with routine account-related requests/inquiries such as:
• Providing auto insurance id cards
• Inquiries about premium due
• Inquiries about coverage
• Respond to third party requests relating to the client's policy
• Perform customer requested research.
• Comply with security procedures to protect assets and data and follow fraud prevention guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
