Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting responsibility including month-end close.
• Insurance accounting experience preferred.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating with internal/external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close procedures and journal entries.
• Prepare statutory and internal financial statements.
• Lead intercompany reconciliations and general ledger analysis.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Oversee SOX controls and assist with audits.
• Mentor accounting staff on systems and processes.
