Job summary

State of Wisconsin Employee Trust Funds seeks an Insurance Accounting Director to supervise a team of accountants and serve as a technical advisor on insurance program accounting. Insurance Accounting Director As the Insurance Accounting Director, you will oversee financial operations for highly complex insurance programs and play a critical role in delivering quality benefits for employers and members. You will be responsible for supervising a team of accounting staff and serve as a technical advisor to the Deputy Director on aspects of insurance program accounting. You will ensure that all financial reporting objectives are met. In addition, you will formulate and evaluate financial policies and take part in the design, implementation, and maintenance of large financial technology systems.
