Job summary

LP Insurance Services, LLC is seeking an Insurance Accounting Associate to join our Accounting team. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple accounting functions including direct bill accounting, carrier receivables, and month-end processes.

The position requires working in-person, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1–2 years of accounting or billing experience, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Process and post commission statements, bank deposits, and carrier payments.
• Coordinate with client services to resolve direct bill and invoicing issues in the Agency Management System.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations (banks, direct bill commissions, payables).
• Research and resolve issues identified in reconciliations.
• Support month-end accounting activities and other related duties.
