Job summary

Lake Barkley Insurance, an Independent Agency serving Western KY and Middle TN, seeks a motivated Insurance Account Manager to service a diverse book of business across two locations. You will manage existing accounts, assist producers, and leverage agency systems to ensure timely, accurate documentation and top-notch client service.

New or experienced professionals can join; base salary ranges from $40,000 to $70,000 depending on experience, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Personal Lines or Commercial Lines Account Manager experience preferred, but not required.
• Active Property & Casualty license preferred, but not required.
• Two-year Associate Degree or Four-year Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience with agency management systems and MS Office.
• Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong client service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service assigned customer accounts with high level of client satisfaction.
• Support Producers’ sales efforts by developing submissions and obtaining quotes.
• Keep records in the Agency Management System and electronic files up to date.
• Aim for high account retention through proactive outreach and cross-selling where appropriate.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive and responsive communication.
• Respond to inquiries and policy changes within defined timeframes; support special projects as needed.
