Job summary

Bert Whisenant Insurance is seeking a Customer Service Representative to maintain strong client relationships and support daily interactions with customers, carriers, and staff. You will handle inquiries, provide documentation, and assist with service and marketing activities to grow the book of business.

The role requires an insurance license, relevant experience, and solid communication skills to explain products and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience required.
• Must hold state insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, rating and underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to existing clients: update policies, provide quotes, take payments, answer questions, and provide documentation.
• Answer calls and correspondence about new or existing policies; service all claims including after-hours.
• Support producers by gathering data, presenting options, finalizing coverage, cancelling policies, and negotiating with carriers.
• Schedule appointments or client calls and review policies, liabilities, and renewals.
