Dahl Consulting is hiring an Insurance Account Manager in Buffalo, MN to support a senior producer within a well established financial services organization. This senior role handles personal and commercial P&C, renewals, new business prep, and marketing to carriers across the policy lifecycle.

You will manage client interactions, prepare renewal materials, and support presentations for new and renewal business while ensuring accuracy and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Two year post high school education or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of customer service, insurance and/or commercial line product experience.
• Active Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Experience in commercial P&C lines.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage client interactions for renewals and new business.
• Experience marketing accounts to carriers.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are hiring a Insurance Account Manager to support a senior producer within a well established financial services organization. This is a senior level account management position that requires strong initiative, independent decision making, and direct client interaction. The role supports both personal and commercial P and C lines and involves renewals, new business preparation, marketing to carriers, and the full lifecycle of policy management. The ideal candidate is experienced, proactive, and confident working directly with clients and carriers.

Job Description

In this role, you will provide support to a Senior Sales Producer while managing existing clients. You will assist with both personal and commercial lines, ensuring high quality service, retention, and growth opportunities. Responsibilities include preparing renewal materials, marketing accounts to carriers, reviewing claims information, and supporting presentations for new and renewal business. You will manage the complete lifecycle of policies including quoting, binding, renewing, processing changes, and ensuring accuracy of all updates. This position also involves extensive customer service, problem resolution, documentation processing, and supporting departmental needs such as assisting with onboarding and retention efforts.

Qualifications

Required

• Two year post high school education or equivalent experience
• Five or more years of customer service, insurance and or commercial line product experience
• Active Property and Casualty insurance license
• Experience in commercial P&C lines
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage client interactions for renewals and new business
• Experience marketing accounts to carriers

Preferred

• Active Life and Health insurance license
• Experience supporting senior level producers
• Strong organizational and follow up skills
• Ability to analyze client needs and market trends to recommend coverage solutions
• Experience reviewing loss runs, preparing summaries, and assisting with accounts receivable
• Background providing advisory support on insurance products and coverage options
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members
