Job summary

Wayne Shoemaker State Farm Agency is seeking an Insurance Account Representative – State Farm Agent Team Member to join our team. You will focus on building relationships, identifying customer needs, and contributing to the growth of the agency.

Responsibilities include establishing relationships, providing prompt, friendly service (handling calls, following up on claims, inquiries, payments, quotes, and writing new policies), and supporting growth through acquisition and retention.

Qualifications

• Maryland State Insurance licensing required.
• Complete 2 pre-employment assessments.
• Pass background check and interviews.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including calls, claims follow-up, inquiries, payments, quotes and policy writing.
• Help the agency grow through customer acquisition and retention.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Contribute to a team-focused environment and support agency goals.
• Learn quickly and follow directions from Team Leaders.
