Job summary

John Hamilton State Farm is seeking an Account Representative to support daily operations and customer success. You help grow the agency through meaningful customer relations and act as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments.

You improve lives by proactively marketing relevant products and services, developing leads, scheduling appointments, and delivering prompt, friendly service while building long-lasting relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
• Experience in managing customer relationships.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to relate to customers.
• Property & Casualty license.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
