What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Handle customer interactions through multiple communication channels while ensuring clarity and professionalism
- Provide triage support services to resolve common issues related to platforms and user applications
- Document timely and accurate actions, including issues and resolutions in systems
- Manage inbound and outbound calls for patient inquiries, insurance follow-ups, and billing concerns
- Comply with all policies and standards while maintaining quality measures and performance metrics
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment with high call volumes
- Knowledge of medical revenue cycle processes from scheduling through final account disposition
- Experience with insurance collection follow-up or self-pay collections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Associate Degree in customer service, business, or a related field
- 1 year of experience in a hospital or physical business office
- Familiarity with EOB, Remits, and UB-04s
- Experience using call management systems or CRM tools
