Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a pipe insulation technician to remove, repair and install fiberglass, calcium silicate, and rubatex on piping systems and ship components. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work 8 hours per day on site.

Candidates should have 3–4 years of pipe insulation experience in industrial, marine, shipbuilding, or Petro-Chemical environments and be able to meet production schedules. We offer competitive benefits and stable full-time employment.

The Role

The candidate will remove, repair and install various types of pipe insulation; including fiberglass, calcium silicate and rubatex from piping systems, ventilation systems and various components and structures through out the ship. Candidate must have the ability to lift 50 lbs., climb, crawl, bend, squat and stand 8 hours per day and work in various work environments.

Must Have

3-4 years of Pipe Insulation experience n an Industrial, Marine, Shipbuilding aor Petro-Chemical enviroment with experience installing rubber insulation. Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs.
