Zusammenfassung

Delta Constructors, LLC in Watford City, ND is seeking an Insulator Journeyman to lead and train Insulator Helpers on industrial insulation projects. You will read blueprints, measure and cut, and apply insulation materials with attention to safety and quality.

The role includes a 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule, 60 hours per week with potential overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and life insurance.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman level hours and typically 5 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (location dependent).
• OSHA 10 and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) certificates or able to obtain on hire.
• Must have insulation-specific tools.

Brief Description:

The Insulator Journeyman is responsible for guiding, training, and leading Insulator Helpers. The incumbent performs insulation work with mechanical, industrial, commercial and/or cryogenics working from blueprints and specifications with a wide variety of materials while applying appropriate insulation techniques based on the standards or needs of the project.

• 36 weeks ON and 17 weeks OFF (22% MORE TIME OFF!)

Essential Job Functions:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, or Equivalent


• Journeyman level hours and experience (typically 5 years)


• Current and valid driver’s license, with clean driving record required depending on location


• Current OSHA 10 and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) certificates or be able to obtain upon hire


• Must have insulation specific tools

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the different type of tools involved in insulation


• Knowledge of design, principles and technical plans such as blueprints and drawings


• Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to materials and equipment use and operation


• Strong organization skills


• Ability to use time efficiently in order to complete projects/assignments on time


• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment


• Ability to handle stress and possess positive attitude even in difficult or challenging situations
