Job summary

Central Gulf Industrial Alliance is seeking a Journeyman insulator to apply, remove, and repair insulation on equipment, pipes, and tanks to control noise and temperature. The role requires reading blueprints, selecting materials, and performing installations safely.

You will work on-site in industrial settings, fabricate insulation, seal surfaces, and ensure compliance with hazardous waste guidelines. A strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyman with 4–8 years field experience and ability to read and interpret instructions.
• Proficient in selecting insulation materials and fabricating insulation for various surfaces.
• Must follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, instructions, and plan work activities.
• Select and cut insulation material based on heat retention and surface.
• Install sheet metal around insulated pipes to protect insulation.
• Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces with adhesives or cement for insulation application.
• Maintain tools, records, and housekeeping; observe safety rules.
