Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Insulator to support operations in Joliet, IL. This is a mostly embedded role with minimal callouts and a strong emphasis on safety and field installation.

The ideal candidate will hold a High School Diploma or GED, have knowledge of insulation materials (mineral wool, glass wool, calcium silicate, aerogel, cryogel, pyrogel), and NCCER Insulation Plus certification is preferred. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred knowledge of mineral wool, glass wool, calcium silicate, aerogel, cryogel, pyrogel.
• Preferred experience fabricating and attaching aluminum-stainless steel jacking and metal bandings.
• NCCER Insulation Plus certification preferred (Qualified Operator).

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders.
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques.
• Assist other technicians as required.
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment.
• Must possess a valid Driver License or ID.
• Willingness to travel.
