Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Rope Access Insulator to support operations in Joliet, IL. This is primarily an embedded role with minimal callouts, requiring local applicants.

The candidate will perform rope access tasks under supervision, maintain certifications, and adhere to IRATA or SPRAT guidelines while supporting safety and quality programs. Work involves inspecting equipment, assisting setup, and traveling as needed, with a heavy emphasis on safety, endurance, and teamwork in industrial

Qualifications

• IRATA/SPRAT Level 1 certification and proficiency in rope access basics.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform rope access tasks under supervision of RAT or Level II/III technician.
• Inspect rope access equipment and systems for safety and compliance.
• Set up equipment as directed by Lead RAT and report hazards.
• Maintain certifications and training records per IRATA/SPRAT.
• Assist in rescue operations and other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety, quality standards, and overtime expectations.
