As an Insulation Technician, you will play a crucial role in improving energy efficiency, comfort, and safety in residential and commercial buildings. You will be responsible for the installation and removal of various types of insulation materials, as well as performing tasks such as radiant barrier installation, rodent mitigation, air sealing, and air duct cleaning.

Insulation Commandos of Greater Phoenix is seeking a dedicated and skilled Insulation Technician to join our expanding team. As an Insulation Technician, you will play a crucial role in improving energy efficiency, comfort, and safety in residential and commercial buildings. You will be responsible for the installation and removal of various types of insulation materials, as well as performing tasks such as radiant barrier installation, rodent mitigation, air sealing, and air duct cleaning.

Duties include:
- Insulation Installation: Install various types of insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam, cellulose, and spray foam, in wall and ceiling cavities according to project specifications.
- Insulation Removal: Safely remove old or damaged insulation from existing structures while minimizing damage to the building's structure.
- Radiant Barrier Installation: Install radiant barriers to improve energy efficiency by reflecting heat away from living spaces.
- Rodent Mitigation: Seal openings and gaps in walls, floors, and ceilings to prevent rodents and pests from entering insulated spaces.
- Air Sealing: Identify and seal air leaks in buildings to improve energy efficiency and maintain indoor comfort.
- Material Handling: Transport insulation materials to job sites and ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of insulation materials.
- Quality Control: Ensure that insulation installation meets quality standards and follows industry best practices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any issues or concerns encountered.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with team members, contractors, and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in insulation installation is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in construction, drywall, painting, masonry, landscaping, or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to different job sites.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to undergo additional training and certifications as required.
Compensation:
- Competitive Pay: $18-25 per hour, depending on experience and performance

Physical Requirements:
- Extended durations of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
- Able to execute tasks efficiently in various conditions, including adverse weather conditions, high temperatures, confined spaces, and elevated heights.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to dependable transportation for travel to job sites.
- Possess the physical fitness and stamina required to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and demonstrates a strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Must pass background investigation and reference check
