Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Installing and removing various types of insulation and jacketing on piping and equipment in the petrochemical industry.
• Lifting a minimum of 50 lb boxes.
• Working from elevated heights, including mobile lifting equipment (MANLIFTS).
• Passing a physical exam, background check, and drug test.
• Passing an insulation journeyman written and practical exam.
• Holding a valid TWIC card.
• Providing own tools of the trade.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• NCCER Certifications preferred but not required.
• Minimum 4 years experience; preferably in manufacturing or industrial facilities.
• Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently.
• Ability to write legible, routine correspondence and speak effectively with management and colleagues.
• Knowledge of industrial electricity issues.
• Works well within teams.
• 90% travel to job sites across the country.
