Job summary

BDI Insulation of Idaho Falls, Inc. is seeking an insulation installer to professionally install fiberglass or rock wool batts in exterior walls and ceilings across varied projects.

You will use hand and power tools, work in tight spaces like attics and crawlspaces, and follow safety procedures, including DOT rules when driving company vehicles. This position offers $17.00–$20.00 per hour (piece rate), with medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k), paid time off, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.
• Previous insulation installation experience is a plus.
• Comfort with standard hand tools.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and log materials onto a truck.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed.
• Cut insulation to size and install in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces.
• Install insulation by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or using equipment.
• Drive company vehicle if required, complying with DOT rules.
• Follow job site safety rules and know MSDS locations.
