Job summary

Big Rock Insulation in Rapid City is seeking an insulation installer to install Blow-in and Batt insulation in exterior walls and ceilings. You will load materials, erect scaffolding, cut materials to size, and install with various methods in frames, attics, or crawlspaces.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces. Schedule is Mon–Thu, 10-hour shifts with possible overtime; compensation is $18.00–$26.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Installation experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Loading and logging materials onto a truck.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders to the height needed.
• Cut insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics or crawlspaces.
• Install insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or injecting loose-fill or foamed insulation.
• May drive a company vehicle; follow DOT rules and maintain tools/truck.
• Observe job site safety rules and locate MSDS packets in the vehicle.
