Job summary

Apple Valley Insulation is seeking an insulation installer to professionally install fiberglass or rock wool batts in exterior walls and ceilings. The role offers a stable process, strict safety standards, and a family-like team culture within the Installed Building Products network.

Responsibilities include loading materials, erecting ladders, cutting and installing insulation, and possible vehicle operation in compliance with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Installation experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawl spaces.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loading and logging materials onto a truck.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders to the height needed.
• Cut the insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawl spaces.
• Installing insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation.
• May be required to drive a company vehicle and follow DOT requirements.
• Observe job site safety rules and MSDS locations.
