Job summary

IBP of Miami is seeking motivated individuals to join as insulation installers. This role involves installing fiberglass or rock wool insulation in exterior walls and ceilings, with pay driven by production rather than hours.

The more you complete, the more you earn, and training is provided where applicable. Key responsibilities include loading materials, setting up scaffolding, cutting and installing insulation, and potentially driving a company vehicle while complying with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Installation experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in tight spaces (attics, crawlspaces).
• Willingness to work in varying environments and temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Load and log materials onto a truck.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed.
• Cut insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces.
• Install insulation by stapling, glue, wiring, nailing, or injecting foam/loose-fill insulation.
• Follow DOT rules if driving a company vehicle and maintain your tools/truck.
• Observe safety rules and know MSDS locations in your vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and logging materials onto a truck
• Erect scaffolding or ladders to the height needed
• Cut the insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
• Install insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation
• May be required to drive a company vehicle. If so, follow all driving rules and DOT requirements at all times and maintain your tools/truck
• Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle

Role Requirements:

Installers also need balance and stability in confined or unstable spaces and may experience strain from pushing and pulling heavy loads or performing repetitive tasks.
