Job summary

All Construction Services is seeking an insulation installer to fit fiberglass or rock wool batt insulation in exterior walls and ceilings. This role involves hands-on installation in various spaces and may include driving a company vehicle while adhering to DOT rules.

The team emphasizes safety and precise workmanship in challenging environments. The position requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort with hand tools.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Installation experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Able to work in tight spaces (attics, crawlspaces).
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and log materials onto a truck.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders to the needed height.
• Cut insulation to size and install in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces.
• Install insulation by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or using equipment that injects insulation.
• May be required to drive a company vehicle and maintain tools.
• Follow job site safety rules and know the location of MSDS packets.

Job description

As an insulation installer, you will focus on installing insulation (fiberglass or rock wool batts) for exterior walls and ceilings. Your day-to-day "office" won't always look the same! However, you can count on the process to provide some consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and logging materials onto a truck
• Erect scaffolding or ladders to the height needed
• Cut the insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
• Installing insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation
• May be required to drive a company vehicle. If so, follow all driving rules and DOT requirements at all times and maintain your tools/truck
• Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle

Role Requirements:

• Valid driver's license andreliable transportation

• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
• Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees

Installers also need balance and stability in confined or unstable spaces and may experience strain from pushing and pulling heavy loads or performing repetitive tasks.
