Position Summary:

Seeking a timely, efficient, and service-oriented individual to join a crew installing insulation in homes or businesses throughout Kentucky and Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

• Install foam insulation in walls of existing homes or businesses.
• Apply spray polyurethane foam into walls, ceilings, basements, crawl spaces, or other areas.
• Install loose fiberglass or batt insulation in various parts of the property.
• Install ventilation and other peripheral products.
• Perform additional services as directed by the foreman or Owner/Operator.

Essential Functions:

• Work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
• Work in extreme cold and heat.
• Work on ladders up to 28 feet.
• Use hand tools, drills, pumps, and all necessary equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness during and after installation.
• Educate customers on services and installation features.
• Ensure high-quality installations and do the job right the first time.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform tasks assigned by the crew chief and Owner/Operator.

Status & Scope:

• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and manage customer paperwork.
• Speak English.
• Pass a physical exam (up to 275 lbs with safety gear).
• Lift and move up to 80 lbs.
• Possess good organization and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• No prior insulation experience required, but preferred.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Knowledge of siding, home building, drills, pumps, and hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot installation issues.

Use of Equipment:

Drills, truck, hand tools, GPS, pumps, siding tools.

Travel Requirements:

More than 30% local daily travel, within a 2-hour radius.

Lifting Requirements:

Heavy lifting up to 100 pounds, with frequent handling of objects up to 50 pounds.

Physical Demands:

Constant activity including bending, pushing, reaching, seeing, speaking, walking, standing, hearing, and climbing.
