Job summary

Apache Industrial is seeking a Craftsman A to perform insulation removal, fitting and application, as well as general site work such as loading and unloading equipment, site clean-up and mobilization to the jobsite.

The Craftsman will follow verbal directions, perform duties in confined spaces with required breathing equipment, and tolerate extreme weather conditions for extended periods. Safety policies and teamwork with foremen and other trades are emphasized.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and temporary structures.
• Assist carpenters, masons and other contractors; clean up work area, supplies, materials and equipment.
• Work unsupervised in an efficient and effective manner.
• Communicate with the Field Foreman about issues on site.
• Ensure work continues in the Foreman’s absence.
• Comply with all Apache and client safety policies and programs.
• Load and deliver materials, and use tools such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.
