Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an Instrumented Handling Test Engineer to support the Vehicle Dynamics development process through in‑vehicle objective measurements. You will coordinate testing, execute tests, calibrate equipment, process data, and generate reports.

The role requires in‑vehicle limit handling, strict adherence to procedures, and travel of 8–14 weeks annually outside SE Michigan. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, a BS in Engineering, MATLAB proficiency, and strong data analysis

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
Experience in chassis components, vehicle dynamics, or instrumented in-vehicle tests.
Experience in MATLAB; ability to modify, maintain, and write code.
Comfortable operating a vehicle at the limit of handling performance.
Proficiency with MS Office applications.
Experience in data analysis, data mining, and trend analysis.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and plan testing activities for instrumented vehicle testing.
Perform in-vehicle test execution and ensure procedures are followed.
Maintain and calibrate test equipment; update data collection procedures.
Process data, perform analysis, and generate test reports.
Maintain a test results database and refine test procedures and templates.
Support global standards, processes, and analysis tools and templates.
Travel outside SE Michigan; perform in-vehicle limit handling tests as required.
