Job summary

Next Energy Solutions seeks an Instrumentation Tubing Technician for a full-time hybrid role based in Houston, TX. You will install and route instrumentation tubing, read P&IDs, and support calibration and commissioning activities at client sites or company locations while maintaining documentation and safety standards.

You will work closely with engineering and field teams, perform preventive maintenance, and travel to customer sites as needed to ensure reliable subsea and topside

Qualifications

• Strong instrumentation and process control skills for installing, routing, and supporting tubing and related devices in industrial environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to diagnose issues and maintain system reliability.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and instrumentation schematics.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas operations, with exposure to subsea or offshore systems considered an advantage.
• Commitment to safety practices and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret P&IDs and instrumentation diagrams for tubing routes and connections.
• Install, route, and terminate instrumentation tubing for process control systems.
• Support calibration and commissioning activities and assist with troubleshooting instrumentation issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Collaborate with engineers and field teams to deliver subsea and topside solutions while ensuring safety and quality standards.
