Bilfinger Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to support refinery and petrochemical plants across North America. You will troubleshoot instrumentation, install tubing, and assist instrument technicians while following safety procedures.
Applicants should have 5+ years in instrumentation/electronic maintenance, with refinery experience. Strong reading of schematics and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces are required. E-Verify is used.

JOB SUMMARY:
Must be familiar in instrumentation trouble-shooting and repair techniques. Should be able to install tubing and assist the instrument technician in normal duties. Knowledge of interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, flow diagrams, P&ID’s and construction blueprints is required. Will be working with low voltage-115/240 volts. Must be qualified to operate a man-lift, scissor lift, forklift and respirator fitted. Must be able to work in high places (not afraid of heights) and work in confined spaces. Must be physically fit and should have the aptitude to advance to a senior instrumentation technician. Ensures that refinery safety procedures are followed.
Education And Experience Requirements
High school education or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years experience in instrumentation and electronic maintenance with at least 1 years in refinery/petrochemical plants or satisfactory completion of two years of instrumentation disciplines.
Must be computer literate for using plant programs i.e. condition monitoring, condition reporting and status reporting. Have effective communication and team working skills.
