Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Hallettsville, TX for a 3-year contract. Responsibilities include testing, calibrating, and maintaining meters, regulators, RTUs, and gas measurement systems, plus odorization, power systems, and instrument piping. Requires 2+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma, with CDL preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of directly relevant training and experience in measurement/instrumentation or related technical field.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Ability to follow safety policies, SOPs, and manuals.
Ability to troubleshoot and assist with corrective actions.
Basic computer skills and common office software.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred/required as applicable.

Responsibilities

Test, inspect, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot meters, regulators, valves, RTUs, and gas systems.
Perform routine maintenance on odorization systems and document usage.
Operate and maintain power supply systems and in-line heaters.
Install and maintain instrument piping and tubing.
Document equipment procedures and maintain maintenance records.
Collaborate with contractors and other teams on maintenance activities.
Provide guidance to less experienced staff as needed.
