Job summary

AdvanSix seeks an Instrument Mechanic to install, calibrate, configure, diagnose, and repair control valves and instrumentation. You’ll maintain DCS/CEMS equipment and support 24/7 plant operations, collaborating with technicians, operators, and vendors.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of instrumentation troubleshooting (Associates preferred) and instrumentation certification is a plus. Competitive benefits and overtime available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years troubleshooting as an instrumentation technician in industrial/manufacturing setting or Associates in Instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain distributed control systems (DCS) and CEMS.
• Perform calibration, installation, fault diagnosis, and repair of instrumentation and control valves.
• Support 24/7 plant operations and provide off-hours call-out when needed.
