Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) in Gurabo, PR is seeking an instrumentation technician to maintain, calibrate, test, and repair laboratory and process instruments to ensure GMP/ISO-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Skills: Knowledge of calibration methods, measurement principles, manuals/schematics, and CMMS platforms.
• Physical: Lift up to 50 pounds; work around campus or lab infrastructure; visa sponsorship not provided; authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, and repairs laboratory and process instruments to ensure research, quality, and facility operations remain accurate and compliant.
• Calibration & Testing: Perform calibrations, verifications, and functional testing on instrumentation (temperature sensors, pressure devices, PLC, HMI, flow meters).
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose equipment failures, handle work orders, and coordinate OEM vendor repairs.
• Lifecycle & Asset Management: Support installation, qualification, relocation, and decommissioning of equipment, update CMMS.
• Compliance & Documentation: Keep audit-ready calibration and maintenance records in alignment with GMP, GLP, ISO, and site safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose equipment failures, handle service requests or Work Orders, and coordinate original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vendor repairs.
• Lifecycle & Asset Management: Support the installation, qualification, relocation, and decommissioning of equipment, while updating work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Compliance & Documentation: Keep audit-ready calibration and maintenance records in alignment with GMP, GLP, ISO,and site safety standards.
