Job summary
A leading specialty chemicals company is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Process Controls Engineer at our King's Mountain, North Carolina site. The role involves enabling reliability, troubleshooting control systems, and implementing maintenance practices. The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing related to instrumentation and control systems. Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment on instrumentation or control systems.
- Good understanding of OSHA and NFPA 70E safety requirements related to electrical work.
- Basic understanding of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and their implementation.
Responsibilities
- Establish maintenance practices for site equipment optimization.
- Identify and implement capital improvements for critical equipment.
- Support root cause failure analyses for E&I equipment.
