Job summary

Chevron's Richmond, California Refinery is seeking an Experienced Instrumentation Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair process instrumentation and analytical equipment in a large industrial facility.

The role encompasses installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair. It requires journey-level instrumentation, a valid driver’s license, and readiness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shift work in a 24/7 refinery environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Journey Level-Instrumentation - Must be able to provide proof.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation equipment in process plant and instrument shop environments.
• Perform calibration, testing, and preventive/corrective maintenance on process control and analytical instruments.
• Read instrumentation drawings such as P&IDs and schematics; use test equipment to diagnose issues; plan and organize work.
