Chevron Corporation seeks an Entry Level Instrumentation Mechanic at the Richmond Refinery in California to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and instrumentation systems. You will work in process plant environments, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and read P&ID drawings and schematics.

A TWIC card and valid driver’s license are required. The role requires initiative and the ability to plan and organize work, with a focus on safety and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to train and become proficient in the use of electrical test equipment (such as multi-meter, signal generators, and communicators).
• Candidates must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card within 3 months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical systems including fixed and rotating equipment, engines, pumps, generators, compressors, piping, valves, vessels.
• Performs troubleshooting, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Disassembles, repairs, assemble and installs instrumentation equipment as required.
• Maintains and repairs control systems and equipment, analog and digital devices.
• Reads instrumentation drawings such as P&ID’s and schematics.
• Plan and organize own work; estimate labor and materials; ensure safe and economical use of resources.
