Job summary

Brindley Engineering Corporation is seeking an Associate Instrumentation Engineer to generate instrumentation deliverables, conduct site surveys, and collaborate with project designers on new or updated instrumentation.

You will review requirements, attend client meetings, perform field walkdowns, create as-built docs, data sheets, loop drawings, and instrument lists while supporting field execution and outage work.

Qualifications

• BSc in Instrumentation/Mechanical/Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• The candidate should have 3+ years of engineering experience.
• E.I.T. is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISA, API and ASME instrumentation standards.
• Working knowledge of SPI preferred.
• Experience collaborating across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and scopes of work.
• Attend client technical meetings and field walk downs.
• Perform instrument site surveys and walkdowns.
• Develop as-built or as-found instrumentation documentation.
• Generate instrument data, sheets, loop drawings, installation details, instrument lists, and P&ID’s.
• Provide technical support for field execution including outages.
