Your Opportunity + Impact

This position involves instrumentation design, calculations, hardware specifications, and database updates. The Instrumentation Engineer I – III is a junior to mid-level role reporting to an Engineer IV or Department Manager. The role emphasizes learning, skill development, and increasing proficiency, with progression based on mastery rather than years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain instrument databases.
  • Support and develop details for PID controls.
  • Create instrument hardware specifications using ISA standards and industry norms.
  • Participate in project support to develop professional skills.
  • Assist in developing control strategies and functional specifications.
  • Prepare instrument data sheets, specifications, and technical reports for review.
  • Design and check control panels, including shop testing.
  • Supervise IO wiring design for field devices such as motors and VFDs.
  • Develop installation detail drawings.
  • Support design team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • EIT Certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years in the engineering field.
  • Prior engineering experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation specifications.
