Job summary

Walker Lovell is seeking an experienced instrumentation engineer to lead capital projects from concept through commissioning. You will specify, size and select instrumentation including control valves, flow, pressure, temperature and analytical devices, driving safety and reliability across process plants.

You will provide technical leadership for HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL studies, mentor engineers, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years in instrumentation engineering in process manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of P&IDs, instrument specifications, and control valve sizing.
  • Experience with DCS, PLC and SCADA systems and industrial protocols.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead instrumentation engineering activities from concept through commissioning for capital projects.
