Job summary

A leading energy company is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for its Direct Air Capture facility in Texas. The role involves maintaining safety standards while performing installations and repairs on instrumentation and electrical systems. Candidates should have significant industry experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and must be able to lift weights and respond to alarms. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years process instrumentation/electrical maintenance experience in industry.
• Proof of the NCCER certification or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental and safety standards.
• Install and maintain plant instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot 120 V AC controls and 480 V motors.

Skills

Troubleshooting using loop drawing

Maintaining process control loops

High proficiency in Microsoft applications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Education

High School Education or GED

Associate’s Degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Technology
