Job summary

Kikkoman Foods, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks an Instrumentation Technician to test, calibrate, install, repair and inspect manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices. You will perform preventive maintenance and design improvements for measuring and recording equipment.

You will read electrical schematics, P&ID and loop drawings, troubleshoot 480V systems, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain GMP practices while working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Tests, calibrates, installs, repairs and inspects instrumentation and monitoring devices in a highly automated food processing facility.
• Performs preventive maintenance and participates in design improvements for measuring/recording equipment.
• Reads electrical blueprints, schematics, P&ID and loop drawings; analyzes and resolves issues in instrumentation.
• Uses root cause analysis and GMP practices to maintain reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of electrical and process control systems.
• Install, calibrate and maintain instrumentation for process controls and valves/actuators.
• Perform preventive maintenance and generate/write procedures for maintenance tasks.
• Leverage maintenance management system to document work and plan tasks.
• Mentor/train as needed and work with ops, contractors and plant staff.

Summary:As an instrumentation technician, you will test, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices.
