Job summary

Conestoga Energy Partners LLC in Garden City, Kansas, is seeking a Full Time Instrumentation & Electrical Tech to maintain and troubleshoot our electrical and instrumentation systems onsite. You will support safe plant operations and contribute to performance improvements.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, DCS, 4-20mA controls, and motor drives; strong problem-solving skills; and a readiness to work from elevated platforms. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical control circuits (120VAC/24VDC).
• Strong understanding of PLCs and DCS.
• Experience with 4-20mA loops and transmitters; familiarity with HART.
• Experience with motor controls (VFDs), soft-starts, and starters.
• 3 years of related work experience.
• Ability to work from elevated platforms and boom lifts over 30 ft.

What we're looking for in a Instrumentation & Electrical Tech

To be successful as an Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Tech at Conestoga Energy Partners LLC, there are several key skills and knowledge areas that are necessary. First and foremost, you should be proficient in troubleshooting electrical control circuits, both 120VAC and 24VDC. Additionally, a strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and DCS (Distributed Control System) is necessary to effectively maintain and repair our instrumentation and electrical systems. Knowledge of 4-20mA controls and transmitters, as well as familiarity with HART communication protocol, is also required.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
